In 2004, at fourteen years old, I was given a terminal diagnosis.

What followed was not only a fight for survival, but a long journey through suffering, uncertainty, faith, and quiet transformation. Illness did not simply threaten my life, it reshaped it.

My upcoming book, He Lives: Finding Peace in Suffering, releasing in 2026, reflects on that journey from childhood to the present. It traces the defining moments of pain, unexpected survival, spiritual wrestling, and the gradual growth that followed.

This is not only a story about endurance. It is about what suffering formed, a deeper faith, a clearer sense of purpose, and ultimately a peace that does not depend on circumstances.

For many years, I kept this story private. Over time, I came to understand it was not mine to keep. I felt called to share it, not as a declaration of answers, but as an offering for others walking through their own trials.

That calling eventually led me to Colombia, where distance and solitude created the space to reflect and write.

Today, I share this story openly and make myself available to others — whether through writing, conversation, speaking, or collaboration — with the hope of offering presence, perspective, and insight shaped by lived experience.
